With One Life to Life on an indefinite production hiatus, some of the stars of the long-running series are speaking out on the matter.
Emmy winners Erika Slezak (Viki Buchanan) and Robin Strasser (Dorian Lord) and Emmy nominee Kassie DePaiva (Blair Cramer) have all taken to social media to speak directly to their fans.
"When these issues are worked out between Prospect Park and ABC/Disney, we will resume, but unfortunately there is no timetable," Slezak said in a statement on her official web site. "I sincerely thank all of you for watching and supporting us and keep your fingers crossed for a speedy resolution."
Strasser, meanwhile, admitted that she was not taking the news too well. The actress urged fans not to call her telephone hotline until she had a moment to process the news.
"I'm so downed by this news... can't deliver upbeat glass half full/another door opens speech," Strasser noted, before adding a bit of support. "I'm rooting [for Prospect Park] to WIN!"
Meanwhile, DePaiva had fewer words than her co-stars, but the five words she chose will undoubtedly resonate with fans.
"This makes me so sad," DePaiva shared on Twitter.
In an interview with the Los Angeles Times earlier this week, Prospect Park chief Jefff Kwatinetz announced that One Life to Live would not resume production until the ongoing legal spat between Prospect Park and Disney-owned ABC is resolved.
