A day after Days of our Lives put out a casting call for the role of Maya, the NBC soap has announced that it is casting another new role.
DAYS is seeking a 25- to 35-year-old Latino male for the role of "Mateo." Mateo is described as "charismatic and irresistible to women."
According to the casting notice, DAYS would prefer that actors testing for the role speak Spanish, but it is not mandatory.
Mateo is currently being designed as a recurring role, but it could be contract.
There's no word on a first airdate, but fans shouldn't expect to see Mateo until Spring 2015.
